- LG MULTI V is a good fit for offices, hotels, retail buildings, and mixed-use commercial spaces where different rooms need different temperature control under one central system. It works especially well when the client wants a modern VRF layout without moving into a much heavier central plant conversation.
- Our building cannot take condensers on the facade or the terrace. Is VRF still possible?
- Often yes, through water-cooled VRF. The outdoor unit rejects its heat into a cooling-tower water loop rather than into ambient air, so it has no condenser fan and can be installed inside the building. That is the usual answer on fully glazed elevations where external louvres would break the architecture, and on sites where the terrace is already committed to solar, tanks, or services. - We run cooling and hot water all day. Can one system do both?
- On a VRF installation, partly. A hydro kit captures heat the outdoor unit would otherwise reject and puts it into hot water, which is worth assessing on any site that runs both loads together: hotels, hostels, hospitals, canteens, and restaurants. It is not a free addition. It raises installed cost, and it only pays back where hot-water demand is genuine and reasonably steady, so we would want your actual consumption pattern before recommending it.
- Is there an LG VRF option for a villa or a three-bedroom flat?
- Yes. Compact and home-scale VRF connects a small group of indoor units to a single outdoor unit, which is usually what a Kerala villa owner actually wants: zoned cooling with one service ledge instead of a condenser under every bedroom window. One caution on comparison. These units are classified as commercial products, so some of them carry no BEE star rating at all.
